The knee reinforcements are also water-repellent, so a fall on a wet playground is no problem – simply wipe them down and they're clean as new. In our experience, the knee pads will withstand even the wildest adventures – holes are a thing of the past.

Washing polyester, whether new or recycled, releases microplastic particles that end up in our oceans—one of the main causes of microplastic pollution. Furthermore, polyester can't be recycled, meaning garments made from recycled plastic end up in landfills. And compared to natural materials like organic cotton, polyester isn't as breathable or skin-friendly. How long do the trousers last?
Our trousers are designed to be worn for at least a year – and many parents tell us theirs last much longer. Of course, it depends a little on how active your child is and whether the trousers are worn mostly indoors or out.
Our tip: Choose the right size so the knee area stays well covered, and rotate them with other favourites – that way they’ll last even longer.
Fabric note: Fleece can shrink more than other fabrics. To keep the original fit, avoid tumble drying.
