Ja. Die Kniebesätze der Babbily Hosen sind speziell dafür entwickelt, deutlich länger zu halten als gewöhnliche Kinderhosen.
Während viele herkömmliche Stoffe bereits nach etwa 5.000 Reibungszyklen Verschleiß zeigen, hält der Kniebesatz unserer Hosen im Martindale-Test rund 100.000 Zyklen aus. Das ist ein Vielfaches der Belastung, die im normalen Spielalltag entsteht.
Wichtig zu wissen:
Es gibt Extremsituationen mit sehr hoher Reibungshitze – zum Beispiel, wenn Kinder nach einem Sprint zu einem schwungvollen Knierutscher ansetzen (wie beim Torjubel der Fußballprofis) oder einen schnellen Sturz auf den Knien abfangen. Besonders auf stumpfen Antirutsch-Hallenböden kann dabei punktuell so viel Energie entstehen, dass selbst sehr robuste Materialien an ihre Grenzen kommen.
Für alles, was Kinder sonst tun – klettern, krabbeln, rutschen, toben – sind die verstärkten Knie gemacht.

To make the most of your Babbily gear:
- Buy the current size: No need to "size up." We’ve already built the extra room into the design so the reinforced knees sit exactly where they should from day one.
- Gentle Care: Washing at 30°C inside out protects the organic fibers and extends the life of the garment.
- Give it a rest: Alternating with other trousers allows the natural fibers to recover and stay strong for even more adventures.

Babbily is designed to grow with your child. To find the right fit, simply use your child’s actual height as a guide. Since sizing varies significantly between brands, we recommend sticking to their actual measurements for the best
fit.

- For Slimmer Builds: We recommend choosing the smaller size. This ensures the trousers fit perfectly from day one without any bunching or excess fabric.
- For Average to Sturdier Builds: Go for the next size up. Thanks to our adjustable comfort waistband, the trousers will still sit securely while offering plenty of room for active play.

Babbily's fleece pants are perfectly designed to accompany children throughout the day. They combine the comfort of pull-on pants with the warmth of thermal pants , while boasting a classic cut that also looks great at school.
Children spend a large portion of their time at school, constantly switching between different activities. Sometimes they're sitting in the classroom, sometimes they're running around during recess – both indoors and outdoors. For this, they need comfortable clothing that not only fits well but is also easy to put on and take off.
It has to be breathable so children don't sweat, yet durable enough to withstand a soccer game during recess. Winter presents a special challenge: The clothing has to be warm enough to withstand the walk to school, but also comfortable to wear indoors.

That's where Babbily comes in. Our soft children's fleece pants made from pure organic cotton offer exactly the comfort that kindergarten children need. The fabric is especially soft on the skin and free from harmful chemicals. So your child can play safely and comfortably all day long. And when it's time for recess, the warm pants will keep them pleasantly warm even outside thanks to the organic cotton fleece. Once put on, there's no need to change them – ideal for every day. The wide, comfortable waistband with adjustable elastic on our children's fleece pants ensures that the back is always well covered and the warm pants don't slip down even during active games, and they fit well without being uncomfortably tight. Even with a lot of activity, these winter pants fit securely and keep the little ones warm and cozy, whether indoors or outdoors. Simply pure coziness.

We know how active children are. That's why we've equipped our children's fleece pants with extra-large knee pads. The fabric was specially developed for sports and motorcycle use and can withstand up to 100,000 friction cycles . This means that the knees of these warm pants are optimally protected without restricting freedom of movement. Thanks to the 4-way stretch, the fabric remains flexible and adapts to every movement. The knee reinforcements are also water-repellent, so a fall on a wet playground is no problem – simply wipe them down and they're clean as new. In our experience, the knee pads will withstand even the wildest adventures – holes are a thing of the past.

Although recycled polyester for fleece pants is often touted as a sustainable solution, we disagree. Washing polyester, whether new or recycled, releases microplastic particles that end up in our oceans—one of the main causes of microplastic pollution. Furthermore, polyester can't be recycled, meaning garments made from recycled plastic end up in landfills. And compared to natural materials like organic cotton, polyester isn't as breathable or skin-friendly. That's why we use natural, healthy, and chemical-free materials for our kids' fleece pants—because true sustainability starts at the roots.
